"Lonilu" (would be nice if you could sign your name) writes that "We do alot
of epidurals on our unit (90%)." I find this profoundly depressing. Anyone
else find the figure of only 1 out of 10 women delivering without the aid of
anesthetic disturbing and distressing? I'm glad to be living in the boonies
and hope this trend doesn't move north! Maybe it's like this in the urban
hospitals in Canada, but somehow I doubt it.
