I am currently doing research on the early personal electric devices known as electric power belts. If judged by the amount of advertising that went into their promotion and the number of manufacturers they were very successful. They were also clearly offering quack cures. Has anyone ever encountered one of these devices in an archaeological context? Has anyone seen a report or article where these devices were archaeologically encountered and identified?

Thanks
Dan Martin
