Thanks for your kind comments on the paper. The answer, as far as I am aware, is "no". I don't think that the 2-heptanone content of propolis has been studied or recognised for what it might be - but yes, you're right, it could, theoretically, be a factor in the analgesic potency of propolis.

Hopefully it opens up more possibilities for study.
