Dear All,

As a result of a 4 year collaborative project between Vita (Europe) Ltd and the University of Thessaloniki, Greece, we have discovered why bees produce 2-heptanone.

Please take a look at our paper, published last night: http://dx.plos.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0047432

All the best,

Max
