I neglected to mention that while you get $50 worth of formula month on
welfare, you get $50 CASH if you breastfeed.

One would THINK no welfare mom would even consider formula.

Their rates are the lowest, like everywhere else in north america... and
the unfortunate instance happens where mom breastfeeds some feedings just
to get called a breastfeeder and the rest are cow milk :-/

note the $50 benefits stop at age 6 months, which is what leads people to
thinking weaning from either formula or breastmilk is ok then.
