Yesterday at the pool I was talking with the swim instructor, whose wife is
pregnant with their first.  She's a registered dietician, and has been
teaching people for several years about the importance of breastfeeding, but
is still nervous about getting it right herself.  The swim instructor knows
what I do for a living and asked if I had anything his wife could read.  I
said sure, and then mentioned that Alexander had nursed for "several years"
-- at which point Alex piped up and said "Yep, I nursed for 5.5 years, which
means I've been weaned for just over 2 years now."  All this said with a
big, smug grin on his face.  I was very proud of him.
