One of my hospital's neonatologists is from India.  When nurses
protested the use of fenugreek for mother's of prematures the doctor
pointed out that this is a FOOD item in her culture, used heavily in the
postpartum period but also also routinely all the time.  She felt many
cultures are not used to the taste so might prefer capsules to get the
medicinal effect but to remember that in many cultures this is a normal
food and that it didn't need to be over analyzed.
