I was recently speaking to a woman pregnant with her first baby who is
trying to choose a pediatrician. I realized that although I have some
ideas about what breastfeeding related issues she should include in her
list of questions I wasn't entirely sure about a few things.
1- Is there a minimum percentage of exclusively breastfed babies in a
practice at 3 months and 6 months that would help indicate if a physician
is truly supportive. Since they will all "say" breast is best how do we
know if a doctor really "means" it?
