In addition to whatever the original causes of the lip sucking were it
sounds like the baby is also used to a fast flowing milk supply.  Perhaps
Dr. Newman's breast compression technique would keep the baby's suck on
target.  I think that continuing to pump after feeds to build up the
supply might also help.
