Hi all,

I have a mom with a problem I've never seen (OB hasn't either). She is G2P2 with a 6 mo
old who has been nursing fine. They've had chronic yeast but doing okay. Her hx is
positive for mastitis in the breast with the problem. On her right nipple, she has
about a 3/4 cm round bump (nipple is well everted and about 1 1/4 cm across). The bump
came up progressively over about 3 weeks. Now it has a scab (x 1 week) in the center of
it and a white (almost blanched looking) border. Bump is firm but squeezeable. Milk
does not come out of it. She has been pumping that side for about 3 days (little bit
tender). My best GUESS is wart - HPV? Anybody else have any ideas? She has a surgery
consult for this week.
