I have recently seen an item advertised that is basically a "side-car" to
parent's bed.  The ad talks about co-sleeping and the decrease incidence of
SIDS and apnea, ease of nightfeedings, etc.  My question:  is having a baby
in a crib NEARBY the same thing as "co-sleeping" and does it have all the
benefits of what I think of as co-sleeping (namely baby is right next to mom,
on the same bed)???
  An inquiring mind wants to know...
