Yes - there is a study in this week's Journal of the AMA that looked for
antibodies to bovine proteins in infants - found same amounts in infants
fed human and bovine milks.  I can't find any mention of whether the
mother's dairy intake was considered.  Worse, there is an editorial in the
same issue that takes the position that cow's milk is "innocent until
proven guilty," and that we should stop worrying about giving bovine milk
to infants until conclusive evidence that it causes diabetes is found.  I'm
working on my letter to the editor - I'll try it out here this weekend.
