My boss'e solution to avoiding the problem of upsetting somebody by promoting
breastfeeding is to NOT promote or discuss breastfeeding or it's advantages
to the postpartum woman unless she wants to. I asked her what her plan is
for discussing immunizations to women who against them. Or what about
discussing going to bed with a bottle and nursing bottle mouth to parents who
come in and are giving bottles in bed to their children. Why is what I did
any different, or the mother who comes to WIC her baby in a lap instead of
an infant protection seat. How can I get her to use her head about this.
