For anyone interested in a University curriculum for health-care
professionals please e-mail me.  I and colleagues developed and taught a
thirty-nine hour credit course with six clinical hours.  Firts taught last
fall then this intersession.  We are following the first group of students
for three years to determine the impact on breastfeeding.  Initial pre/post
test results are significant with fourth year students starting out well
below RN's whether they work in postpartum or not but all improved equally
well.  The second time it was taught it was open to all healthcare
professionals and we had one nurse.  We had a poster display at the ILCA
