Hi fellow lactnetters. I have taken a little break and am surprised to see I
am getting only thirty some messages as compared to 50 to 60 in early July!

I have some information for the person who expressed interest in the drug
data banks used by the motherrisk clinic I had described earlier in the
summer. I did not have this information at the time but I recently had to
call them and they were most helpful. Apparently they purchase the service
from Denver Colorado, and most poison control centres use these data banks
which I gather are very expensive however, they are updated every six
months. For those interested the data banks originate at the Rocky Mountain
Poison Control Centre 303.436.5616. If you do not have a local Mother Risk
Clinic you could always call the closest poison control centre to obtain
upto date drug and breastmilk information.
