The AAP considers Elavil compatible with breastfeeding just to mention one.
The advantage of the older antidepressents is that they have a longer track
reacord to know if any side effects. I did see a case report in Pediatrics
in 1992 (I don't remember which month of a woman who nursed on Prozac but
this is comtraversial. I would go with an older one if it works
(Unfortunately too many doctor always want to try the "newest"
