We are converting to using Prolacta at our hospital. We have been told Prolacta once thawed is stable for 48 hours where as donor milk is only stable for 24 hours. Our current policy states that milk must be disgarded after 24 hours. Does anyone know of any research on the stability of donor milk and/or prolacta?
Thank you.
