Now I remember the memorable post I wanted to share! Senior moment and like
I said there are so many. It was the post about re-birthing baths (before
we realized how baby led breastfeeding or laid back breastfeeding worked).
The poster was asking about how to get a baby that had never latched to
breast and many posted about the re-birthing bath. For those younger, it
was a process of putting mom and baby in a bathtub with baby on moms tummy,
in the warm water it would remind the baby of birth and baby would move to
the breast and latch on. The poster (from the USA) commented that would it
still work after 6 weeks of age, since as ususal here in the USA we don't
put babies in the water until the umbilical cord stump falls off and moms
can't get in the water until her bleeding stops. I swear if you could hear
laughing over the internet we did! We discovered that other countrys don't
have any issues with moms or babies going into the water right after birth
and I learned how so much of what we do is cultural.

Okay I think I am done with remembering now.
