Rachel, you have said it all so very beautifully!  You and the other list mothers (past and present) are definitely one of the main reasons I love Lactnet so much!  I am saddened that Lactnet has been quiet for a while.  

I'm not sure when I joined, but it's been a very long time.   I have to have my daily fix!  The more I learn the more I appreciate that there are still so many unanswered questions, therefore I particularly enjoy the respectful debates that have many minds contributing and getting us thinking out of the box at times.

The knowledge shared here has profoundly enriched my practice.  Living at the tip of Africa, we don’t have much chance of getting to conferences and networking and chatting with other LCs - so this is a forum that allows us to feel part of a greater community, a place to bounce off ideas or ask a question.

Please, please keep going.......
