Thank you, Nikki for so beautifully stating what sometimes gets lost in the shuffle. No matter how "right" we are, the message we are giving is being absorbed by folks who are in a vulnerable position. It is so hard to have your beliefs questioned, especially regarding mothering decisions. In my future sessions with new parents (and new grandparents),I will keep this firmly in mind when delivering the education about formula.
