Thank-you everyone!  I lso read the ingredients and could see no indication of anything that could break down proteins but I wanted to be sure.  I also wondered with mom if she had misunderstood the doctor but she is pretty sure not.  She was open to the idea that she may have misunderstood and asked her husband what he had heard and he got the same idea from what the doctor said.

Anyway, I passed on the info to mom.  She is trying block feeding and trying to improve her own gut health.
