If a mother is advised to discontinue breastfeeding on the breast where she has a MRSA positive abcess and is treated with antibiotics, how long before it should be safe to resume breastfeeding on that breast or using the milk that she pumps from that side? I have done searches and come up with JHL articles about MRSA and other sources, but nothing definitive about WHEN she can resume.

Thanks in advance,
