I would bet on oversupply.  Is baby gaining very fast? Lets milk roll out sides of mouth while nursing? Did baby used to often choke and cough at breast?  They often learn to pinch to slow flow, causing "burning" vasospasm pain after feedings.

Not sure about the bump. I have seen women with such soft bumps near the areola. I have assumed they were dilated ducts near the surface.  Stick out when full, gone when not.
