I just thought this was a good article to share. This article explained that ovarian Ca isn't as "silent" as many think. (Goff et al. Cancer, 2007) Pat in SNJ
For each symptom below, ask these 3 questions:
*are you experiencing this symptom?
*how long have you been experiencing this sympton?
*how often each month do you experience it?
1. Pain: pelvic, abdominal, back
2. Eating: indigestion, inability to eat normally, feeling full quickly, nausea, vomiting, weight loss
3. Abdomen: bloating, increased abdominal size, ability to feel abdominal mass
4. Bladder: urinary urgency, frequent urination
5. Bowels: constipation, diarrhea
6. Menses: irregularities, bleeding after menopause
7. Intercourse: Pain during intercourse, bleeding after intercourse
8. Misc.: fatigue, leg swelling, difficukty breathing, other
9. No symptoms
