Permission from mom to post: question about Gastric Bypass Surgery and low fat content.
She also has PCOS. Currently supplementing heavily with formula.

She sent breastmilk to be tested and was told the fat content was low (300) - what should it be?
The calories were 11 per ounce. Should be about 24 from what I've heard.
They think low because of low supply. But I don't understand how.
Mom is waiting for domperidone in the mail, and will retest if her supply increases.
She's also unable to take fenugreek because it causes serious dips in her blood sugar.

She's working pretty closely with an IBCLC. Any other ideas or encouragement for her?

Thank you so much for your help.
Kara
