This is a fasciniating situation (sad but still interesting) however, I
don't have any specific ideas... What you're looking at is wanting to change
cultural beliefs, difficult at the best of times. I wonder how much research
has been done on changing cultural attitudes when it comes to the
acceptability of giving babies colostrum??? Any work in this area would be
transferable and I think we know that just providing information is not
enough. Does anyone know of any research looking at how to change/modify
cultural attitudes??
