Where was her midwife in all this?
If the baby did not go for a 3 day check up with the pediatrician,
wouldn't the midwife have had some  responsibility to look out for her in
the vulnerable first days? It also makes me wonder why no one saw
anything unusual about "no breast changes during pregnancy".
