I couldn't agree more! Even my dear daughter, who could not chomp on a
whole raw carrot while she had braces, was found sucking on a baby carrot
toward the end of her treatment. With all the things she *could* eat (cake,
brownies, popsicles), all she could think about were those carrots.
Remind me again where your sister lives? No mother-to-mother support
organizations near by? I know we even have one for women who are faced with
similar situations. Does she have email? Maybe someone here can at least
correspond with her via email to offer support.
