Hello All,
On another list I'm on this AM, an email came through from a man who does a
trip to Haiti every year. His position is to gather the tylenol,
toothbruses, toothpaste, rolaids...and infant formula to distribute. I want
to share with him good information on breastfeeding, how even mothers close
to starvation can breastfeed, about how perhaps the mother should drink any
donated formula and nurse her baby and such. Does anyone have any good
information on breastfeeding in Haiti that I can share with him. My aunt
also goes once a year and I've shared with her basics before, but perhaps if
I have something to hand each of them or links to show them, their groups
might start to change how they handle this?
Thanks,
Teresa, LLL Leader
