When I was pregnant with my twins, one was growing slower than the other
(TTTS they thought at the time, was actually IUGR). I started drinking 4 of
these a day (chugging one in the middle of the night). I remember thinking
it was quite funny and how I'd laugh one day looking back at how I
intentionally consumed 400-500 calories each night from my bed. It
definately did not taste good, I did it because I was trying to get extra
pounds on these babies that were destined to arrive early, but I can't
imagine any mom in a normal situation thinking she should drink these
things. Ick.

Subject: Ensure for moms

They had this product at the American Baby Fair. A mom was nursing her baby
in our booth and her mom (grandma) brought her a sample of this stuff from
their booth nearby. Grandma asked me if I could open it for mom. The smell
was
awful. Mom said it was OK but only took a sip of it.
