On the use of credentials before passing an exam.
I'm surprised by this discussion. In my surroundings it is perfectly legal
to announce oneself as a student for a title. My students for instance can (and
 actually from time to time do so) present themselves as ''LK i.o.''. LK
stands  for Lactationconsultant (Dutch word for this contains a k) and i.o.  means
 in education. LK is lactatiekundige, which name is registered and reserved
for  people who succesfully passed the IBLCE exam and renew timely.
Thus signing as ''IBCLC student'' would be perfectly legal overhere.
