First, they approve the BRSTFD1, then reject BRSTFDM. Am I missing
something here? Because if there is a possible "offensive" interpretation
to the latter, can someone here please point it out to me? I am prepared
to cause a bit of a fuss over this, not because I HAVE to have this plate,
but because of the principle (always the principle); however, I would
first like some guidance from my fellow breastfeeding advocates. If it's
not worth the fight or might possibly cause "problems" for those of us who
try to keep breastfeeding peace, then I will just leave it alone. Any
advice will be greatly appreciated.

hm....
just off the top of my head i would guess that BRSTFD1 could be/may have
been interpreted as "breastFED one'. talking about yourself. either you were
breastfed or you breastfed 1 child. goody gumdrops for you, the general public
could be imagined saying upon reading it. BRSTFDM comes across instantly as the
directive you intend.
'how dare she?!' one can now imagine the public gasping upon reading.
there's my guess as to what went on w/ the interpretations of your request for the
plate.
my advice about whether or not to keep pursuing it is only what i think i
would do: fight for it like the dickens, i love it. i wish i had a plate that
said it! i wish i had thought of it last time i renewed! who knows, next time i
may even steal the idea! LOL
