Brenda writes of a mother who gets feelings of anxiety while breastfeeding.
It is not that unusual, it seems, for women to experience negative emotional
'rushes' in connection with the milk ejection reflex.  If you do a search
with the subject line I've used here, or similar phrase, you should find
them.  The first time I heard of it was when a friend reported 'a feeling of
impending doom' every time her milk let down.  It was very pronounced in the
first weeks and subsided gradually; she went on to BF for nearly 3 years, I
think.
