HI Debbie, this subject has been covered in the archives but I will put this
out again that the mother's milk is OK and does not need to be discarded.
Candidiasis is living in all of our GI tracts and consuming it does not cause
the problem. When the body's immune system becomes depressed then yeast will
be come opportunistic and multiply rapidly.
When treating, one is suppressing the over growth within their own body and
building back up their immune system. One does not get rid of yeast, but
bring it back to a level that is in balance again.
Over all mother's milk will help a baby build their immune system with or
without increase Candidiasis in the milk as oppose to offering formula.
I know this has been stated before that mother's milk while she has a yeast
over growth is contaminated but it is not. Remember that yeast lives in out
GI tract and always will.
