 Thanks for this information. Here's my next question. Is there
a difference is Islamic law between feeding at the breast and
expressed (or donated) milk fed from a bottle? It seems from
your reply that it is the milk consumed, not the breast from
which it comes that is the issue, but I am wondering if this
has been addressed directly by Islamic religious/legal authorities.

In Islamic countries, milk donor situations can be arranged around
this concern. What I worry about is Muslims in US, Canada, European
countries, where their only choice may be a standeard western
milk bank, should the need arise.
