Is there a difference is Islamic law between feeding at the breast and expressed (or donated) milk fed from a bottle? It seems from your reply that it is the milk consumed, not the breast from which it comes that is the issue, but I am wondering if this has been addressed directly by Islamic religious/legal authorities. In Islamic countries, milk donor situations can be arranged around this concern. What I worry about is Muslims in US, Canada, European countries, where their only choice may be a standeard western milk bank, should the need arise. Thanks for your help in this.
