<I just tell
them to "hold onto their nuts," because residents are always very into
gross humor (in my experience;)>

Great post Barbara. I just thought of an additional reason this approach
may be so effective, specifically because it can be perceived by males as
very personal. Sauce for the gander, so to speak, since they will never
experience engorged breasts, an experience which is so very personal for
women.

I was researching Klinefelter's syndrome for someone, and it stated that
in adolescence, a boy's testicle normally grows from the volume of 2 cc.
to reach the adult size of 15 cc.

Even though male residents may not "know" the exact numerical volume of
their own testes, they would certainly have observed intimately the
changes in their own body while (hopefully) passing psychologically and
physically from adolescence to adulthood, let alone doing physicals on
other males. That volume is close enough to a walnut, and the wrinkles
make it all the better than a golf ball!

(Your post ought to be copied and pinned on the bulletin board in every
nation in the land! Or do you have something like it in the newest BF
Atlas?)
