Pamela - I'm sure I've said this before here, and you may remember
that there are very, very few LCs in private practice in the UK. Most
work within the health service as midwives or other health
professionals, and don't see mothers outside their own workplace.
This mum needs to ask her own midwife if there is any LC in her area.
Most self-referred bf support comes from the main vol. orgs...

There is no online list of UK IBCLCs.

She can make sure the HPs looking after her antenatally know of her
bad experiences, and her desire for things to go better this time
