I think the two messages that women find comfort in hearing are:

(1) breastfeeding is not extraordinary.  It's the biological norm, and the ability
belongs to each and every women with normally-functioning breasts.

And

(2)  because it's the norm, when things go wrong, women should seek help.  Nobody who
woke up tomorrow gasping for air would dismiss it with a phrase like, "Oh, well.  I
guess I wasn't lucky enough to breathe right!  I'll just get a tank of oxygen.  It's
almost like breathing unassisted."  Of course, such a person would want to know why!  We
should feel the same when a normal function like producing milk isn't working right.

I say:  If you own a Mecerdes and it won't start, have your mechanic look it over before
you trade it in on a Yugo!!!
