I agree. I have never felt the term extended nursing was very positive... Not
really very fond of prolonged or long-term either.
But, I really like Margaret's suggestion.
SUSTAINED breastfeeding. To me this has a positive tone, and it falls in line
with "the normal course of breastfeeding."
I also like the image it gives me of having won-out over all the challenges!
