Bonnie,
   Marie Biancuzzo, aurthor of the book, "Breastfeeding-Clinical Strategies
for the the Nurse" has done a new module on Sore Nipples.  It is an excellent
module and I highly reccommend it.  She addresses the long time use of tea
bags and I believe the basic assessment is, it is only the warm water that is
soothing when compared with a few other things, so basically they are of no
less, no more, help, than other interventions.

I think it is good for about 6 continuing education credits and quite
informative!
