breastfeeding. In the last trimester, a woman is producing 400mg. per day
naturally. It has been suggested that the sudden drop of progesterone could
exacerbate post-partum depression. I am starting to investigate its use in
the case of ppd. rather than anti-depressants. In a dose of 20-40 mg./per
day it has no known side effects. It is however, helping with headache,
sinus, bloating, etc. I do know that women are seeing drastic changes in
their bodies when they use a progesterone cream. >>

I have gathered from my reading that natural progesterone is safe for
breastfeeding (as is vitex, which can have similar results), however what I
am not sure of is whether it would have any effect on LAM. Do you know about
this, Chris?
