Lisa:  Neuralgia and yeast are not mutually exclusive.  In fact, there is
some interesting research by Truss (his book MISSING DIAGNOSIS is a
compilation of peer reviewed articles from journals such as Lancet, JAMA,
NEJM, etc) linking "syndrome" diseases such as neuralgia, fibromyalgia, CFS,
and others to systemic yeast infection.  I strongly suggest that you
investigate this possibility and treat for systemic yeast (usually requires
a multifaceted approach over a period of months).  You may wind up helping
this mom over come a much greater problem.  Good luck.
