Maybe you are overly cautious, but if you're aren't, who will be?
I would definitley refer her to a dermatologist to rule out Paget's and if
not that, then he can treat for whatever the biopsy reveals. Biopsies are
done to diagnose eczema, psoriasis, and what I have Neurodermatitis.
Radiographics 1998 Nov-Dec; 18(6): 1459-64 "Paget disease of the breast: a
pictorial essay" has some excellent color photos.
