Suggestion for Leslie Cree and her inquiry about her preadolescent  daughter, 
get a copy of "Our Bodies Ourselves for Teenagers". Even if some of  the 
stuff is scarey to you as a parent...keep it as a reference as to changes in  
teenagers. 
Read it first and at sometime you may want your daughter to reference it,  
but 9 is alittle early.  It's a good reference to physiological changes in  
girls.
