There was a published study out of Iran a number of years ago about using fresh breast milk in baby's eyes as a remedy for Pink Eye, the most common form of childhood eye infections. Can't tell more than that right now, but I know I read it. It was about 2 pages long.

Has this doc never experienced life with a nursing baby? How do you keep
breastmilk *out* of their eyes? What if they nurse when sleepy and rub it
in themselves? What if it backs up into the nose/sinuses and out the tear
ducts? What if they spit up and it gets everywhere?

I'm sorry that I have no real suggestions, but I'm rolling my eyes in
sympathy.

P.S. I think someone posted several months ago something about how to
arrange the alphabet soup after our names, but I can't find it in the
archives. Can anyone clue me in?
