There was a published study out of Iran a number of years ago about using fresh breast milk in baby's eyes as a remedy for Pink Eye, the most common form of childhood eye infections. Can't tell more than that right now, but I know I read it. It was about 2 pages long. What if they nurse when sleepy and rub it in themselves? What if it backs up into the nose/sinuses and out the tear ducts? What if they spit up and it gets everywhere? I'm sorry that I have no real suggestions, but I'm rolling my eyes in sympathy. Lynn Carter SFO LLLL IBCLC P.S. Can anyone clue me in? *********************************************** Archives: http://community.lsoft.com/archives/LACTNET.html To reach list owners: [log in to unmask] Mail all list management commands to: [log in to unmask] COMMANDS: 1.
