Thank you, Jennifer!

The parents actually stopped at their Chiro on the way home from the hospital
to have Mom and Baby adjusted. I have suggested that more adjustments be
done, too. Parents use Chiro all the time.

I will be continuing to suggest they go back with the Baby and explain to the
Chiro what is happening. (Chiro has breastfed kids, he adjusts babies and
children.) I think this is an excellent idea.

My first post was already so long that I neglected to mention pre and post
feed weighs ect. It was the first thing I did and do.

From what I see, there is more going on here than *just* a supply problem. (It
may be that, too.) Something seems off kilter, the weights go up and down
(checked and rechecked my scale, everything OK. Got new batteries, OK. ect)
Baby is Outputting well. Most, nearly all babies I have worked with in the past
20 years who are truely underfed have scant diapers, this baby has normal
diapers, for the most part. She is feeding every 2 hours, sometimes more, with
maybe only 3-4 hours once a night sleep. He has a normal Cluster Feed Peroid
inthe evening, which produces even more copious diapers. Something is going
on, and it may be he needs adjusting, again, too. Mom says she thinks baby
is "tense" sometimes. I don't see it (my first was terribly hypertonic,
Traumatic birth and pregnancy, wish I knew 22 years ago, what I know now)
But, SHE knows the baby better than I do, so maybe he is a bit "tense".
(Compared to my kids, he seems like the calmest kid, but my kids were tightly
wound up, sleepless wonders. Still are, no idea where they get it from. ;) )

Will be talking to her and hope that he can get in to see Chiro right away.

I think there may also be some "Living on Letdown" so we will also contiue to
work on latch, listening for swallowing, ect. (Dad told me today, that the baby
has excellent swallowing, for quite a while during morning feeds, which I have
not been present for. (She's a good freind, but I'm not going to be over there,
in their bed at 5 AM ;) ) Will weigh baby again tomorrow, and also do a pre
and post weigh. Pump and syringes are at the ready, she is hoping she won't
need it, though.

She's going to really like the Chiro idea, I think.

Thank you,
