Dear Emily,
My husband lived in Brazil, Mexico, and England when he was growing up. He had the
chicken pox three separate times, once in Brazil and once in Mexico, and then again
in England. Though he never had the American strain, he seems to be immune to it.
Our girls had chicken pox in the fall of 1998 and he did not catch it then.
You can see why I am so skeptical of the chicken pox vaccine!
Sincerely,
Andrea
