HvK, LvB symphonies, HIP etc:

I must confess to having accidentally muddied the waters here. It was
Bill Hong in a post dated 10 March, not Dave, who raised the subject of
Herbie's multiple Beethoven symphony recordings. Dave's contribution was
limited to answering Bill's question about the number of them and then -
understandably - not understanding what I was going on about. I should
have been more careful in reading the post I was replying to, and I
apologise to Dave for having got him involved. The mistake was mine and
mine alone.

>All clear now? [No, but with every post your viewpoint does become more
>plain to see. -Dave]

I'm so glad. (and still under the late-60's Cream influence)

Somehow I can't be quite sure that Dave's view of my viewpoint matches
mine. But I will spare weary listmembers the trouble of going through
it all again.
